“I had such a wonderful experience at Sotai. From the moment I walked in, I felt calm and welcomed. The therapists are incredibly skilled, attentive, and genuinely care about your wellbeing. I left feeling lighter, more relaxed, and with so much less tension in my body. The space itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it easy to switch off from the outside world. I highly recommend Sotai to anyone looking for a truly restorative massage. I’ll definitely be back.”
“Tried Sotai & Kai for the first time today because a friend recommended it. I got the dry massage with medium pressure. The massage itself was decent. I think they worked through my knots pretty well, although some parts were a bit painful at times. Still manageable and expected with medium strength. What really ruined the experience for me was the pajamas they provided. They smelled really bad, like old oil, and the fabric felt greasy/drenched. After the massage my whole body smelled because of it. I even asked if I could change into another set, but the masseuse insisted it was “new, clean, yestai ho” I requested if she could smell and she agreed that it smelled! That part honestly made me uncomfortable throughout the session so the whole time I could smell and felt like I was wearing unwashed pjs. The pricing was also confusing. I had seen reviews from a few months ago mentioning dry massage for Rs. 1500, and I also remember being told on call Rs. 1500 for dry and Rs. 2000 for oil (later corrected to Rs. 2500 for oil). But in the end I paid Rs. 2000 for the dry massage. Their website also only mentions Rs. 2000 without clearly specifying which massage type it refers to. Overall: massage was okay, hygiene and pricing transparency needs improvement.”
“Amazing therapy center! I Highly recommended! Ram, Neeru, and Bhakta are truly incredible. I have been coming here since September 2024, and I have yet to find another place that matches their level of expertise. They have completely transformed the way I feel in my body. My body feels freer, aches and pains in my neck and shoulders have improved tremendously, and issues from sciatica and knee discomfort are almost gone. Inflammation in my back has released, my posture is straighter, and walking feels entirely different, like a renewed body. If you’ve been struggling with chronic pain, I cannot recommend making an appointment here enough. The dedication, skill, and energy of this team are extraordinary. They are truly gifted at what they do. ✨✨✨✨✨ ♥️♥️♥️🙏”
“I cannot recommend this place enough. The receptionist I was messaging on WhatsApp to set up my appointment was kind and quick to respond. During my first appointment, the therapist used the exact perfect amount of pressure along with expertise in breaking up knots without focusing on any one area for too long. The best massage of my life. The second one was also fabulous, and this time, two therapists were working on me at once, which felt extremely luxurious. Prices include the oil massage being 2500 rupees and dry massage being 1500.”
“Sotai is a delightful haven in a quiet cul-de-sac in Sanepa. Run by the son of a professional Japanese-Nepali couple, Sotai offers real and professional massage therapy : mainly dry acupressure with bare feet and hands, acupuncture, moksha massage, cranial sacral therapy. The staff consists of mainly deaf mute and highly trained, friendly therapists. The place is clean and really focuses on client well-being and improvement. During the winter all the rooms are comfortably heated Excellent price-quality and highly recommended.”
