What this is
Top Rated Nepal turns a business's public Google rating and review history into a score. The same formula runs on every listing in every category the site covers. A business cannot buy a higher place.
The method, the version number, and what the score cannot see are on How we rank. If those pages and the public Google data disagree, the Google data wins and I fix the site.
Why I built it
I grew up in Nepal and live in New Zealand. I kept opening Nepali directories for a phone number or a real review and hitting banners, pop-ups, and sponsored rows first.
That is not a taste issue. Cluttered pages get ignored and abandoned. This site has none of that: no banners, no pop-ups, no sponsored slots, on any page.
I do not need an office in Kathmandu to do this. The scores come from Google's public data, pulled and re-scored on a schedule. If that bothers you, the test is simple: open the listing, open Google, check the inputs.
Why it is free
There is no listing fee and no way to pay for a rank.
Some owners later ask me to work on their Google presence. That work is optional, paid, and described on For businesses. I am the same person who publishes the list. That is a conflict of interest. It does not change a score. How you would catch me if it did is on How we rank.
How far this goes
Live today: physiotherapy clinics in Kathmandu, built from real reviews, refreshed on a schedule.
Next categories and cities go up only after the same check. I will not fill the map with placeholder businesses.
